One of the few days we had the time to go out and see the summer this year. A beautiful day at Äggskär, an island at the sea couple hours away from Porvoo. At the edge of the open sea, the nature feels ancient and raw. The boat ride was about to get chilly but on the island, inside its soft groves it was warm again. Even on a cloudy day the rocks, smoothened by the sea, were radiating the warmth of the sun. The small juniper and pine woods were different, somehow minimalistic and pleasing to the eye in their ascetic tidiness.
