Japan through a window


I had to go to Tokyo a couple of days ago to apply for a new passport in the embassy of Finland. Shinkansen is pricey but good fun as you can see the diversity of the Japanese landscape when shooting through mountains, rice paddies, small towns and cities. All those times I've traveled in Japan by a bus or train, I couldn't sleep at all with my eyes and camera glued to the window. It's one of the highlights when traveling anywhere: to see the space between, to understand the distances.
