Childhood summers (Kyoto XLIV)

Bought a new lens, Sony's 50mm 1.8 (the camera I'm using is Sony's NEX 7). Went to see a new apartment. Got soaking wet in the process, heavy rain ruined my new shoes. The cut on my foot reminds of childhood summers. The summer like those kids at Kamigamo shrine were having on Sunday.

Having the time of your life like those kids calls for splashing water, a new environment to explore and small cuts and bruises. I have those. And the zeal is still there, yet I envied those kids dancing in the river.

Shouts and laughter drowning in the rippling of this small muddy puddle.
