Kita no tenmangu and Hirano jinja (Kyoto LII)

A visit to Kitano Tenmangu and Hirano -shrines. The weather was perfect: cooler days of the ending summer and light, hardly visible rain. How can the weather consisting of such simple things as temperature, humidity and amount and color of light invoke such strong sense of nostalgia. It's beginning to feel the same as year ago when I first came here. Those three elements make the air smell the way it used to. Now the air is purified and I can breathe again. After surviving the severe summer of Kyoto I feel my stomach flutter in remembrance of the late butterflies of last autumn.
