Otsu matsuri in Otsu, Shiga. It was like Kyoto's Gion matsuri but in miniature scale, with less people, breathable air and more peaceful atmosphere. From the food stands' traditional matsuri foods to the ornate floats and puppets it's all like a set for a movie, Japan traveling commercial or just a perfectly created festivity in the spirit of older times in an enjoyable and orderly manner.
Chocolate coated bananas, candy strawberries, orange light from lanterns, kids playing drums and flutes and fresh air blowing from Japan's biggest lake.
It's a twilight zone again. I agree with my dreams.
