I'm currently in Miyajimaguchi, a port town just in front of the beautiful island Miyajima. It's a 25 minutes train ride from Hiroshima. But more about this place later.
Before leaving to the Japan Rail Pass round I spent two nights in Kyoto. Kyoto is like a hub station, an HQ to me. I'm going to divide this time in Kyoto into 4 parts this being the first: Kinkaku-ji. One of those must see -places again. Actually I was excited to see this one after reading Yukio Mishima's Kinkaku-ji. The temple seemed empty and unreachable. It is a hovering, shiny and well polished image.
